Pass On, a poem by Michael Lee.
Absolutely beautiful. There’s no other way to describe this.
Add my wordpress please. Starting an official blog.
I’ll still be here also! I would love some support.
Love is ambiguous and vague. Its true definition isn’t for certain. The word, the connotation that comes with it. It’s not an expression, an emotion, a feeling. What is it other than what we label it?
It’s like we use the word as a scapegoat. “I love you” is so much easier to say than trying to explain what exactly we feel. That sudden sharpness in our stomachs that knots up, making its way up to our brains. The way we shudder and our eyes glimmer when we hear someone’s name. How the simple thought of them shifts and turns in our minds. We could say, you are the air I breathe. I’d move every last mountain on this earth for you. You light up my world when I’m stuck in darkness. You’re the perfect shoulder to lean on. Your smell lingers in my brain, teasing my senses. We could say things like, you’re my breath of fresh air, my sanity. You make me a better person. You allow my life to be worth while. You are my reason for everything; my sun, my stars, my sky. My world.
We just say, “I love you”. But what do we really want to say?
my thoughts are loud;
they scream for you.
for the electric shock
that run down our spines…
when we kiss, it’s electric.
sparks crawl up my arm
like lightning bugs in summer.
if i could capture it
in a jar,
i would keep the feeling forever…
let it settle in a place
where i’m out of touch;
my mind floats on a cloud.
the lightning strikes,
it rains down.
screaming for you,
my thoughts are so loud.
It tells me that my creativity and imagination will be at an all time high! Hopefully good things are in store for Pisces for the next few years ^.^
